Poster Presentation Competition Guidelines

The Poster Presentation Competition is intended to encourage researchers and students to present and discuss their latest research progress, foster scholarly exchange, and promote further development in carbon materials research. The Organizing Committee will appoint a review panel to evaluate the presentations, and outstanding posters will be selected and recognized based on the panel’s assessment.

1. Registration information

Participants who wish to be considered for the Poster Award Competition are required to submit their abstracts via the 2027 ISCM-3 website (https://2027-iscm-3.conf.tw/) no later than the Abstract Submission Deadline. Applicants should select “Apply” for the “Poster Award Competition” option during the abstract submission process. The review results and acceptance notifications will be announced according to the schedule posted on the ISCM-3 website.

2. Evaluation Criteria

Poster Time and Location: Competition posters must be displayed in the designated poster area. The detailed presentation time and location will be announced on the ISCM-3 website.

Participants are required to be present at their posters during the assigned poster session and answer questions from the review panel.

The posters will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Originality: 30%
  2. Research Content: 30%
  3. Q&A Performance: 30%
  4. Poster Design: 10%

The review panel will evaluate each poster presentation and determine the final list of award winners for the Student Poster Presentation Competition. In the event of a tie, the presentation with the higher originality score will be given priority.esentation score and the final list of award winners for the Student Oral Presentation competition. If two presentations have the same score, the presentation with the higher originality score will be prioritized in the final list.
