About NSYSU

Welcome to NSYSU: A Scenic Coastal Campus for ISCM-3

ISCM-3 will be held at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Located at the beautiful Sizihwan Bay, NSYSU is one of Taiwan’s most scenic university campuses, uniquely situated between the green slopes of Shoushan and the open waters of the Taiwan Strait. With ocean views, sea breezes, coastal trails, a relaxing beachfront atmosphere, and spectacular sunsets, the campus offers an inspiring setting for scientific exchange and international networking.

NSYSU combines strong academic and research capacity with a distinctive oceanfront environment, making it an ideal venue for ISCM-3. Participants will be able to engage in high-quality discussions on carbon materials while enjoying a relaxed and memorable conference atmosphere shaped by the natural beauty of southern Taiwan. The beautiful beach area around the campus also provides a rare opportunity for visitors to unwind between sessions and experience the calm coastal charm of Kaohsiung.

Beyond the conference program, Kaohsiung offers international visitors a vibrant and welcoming travel experience. The city is known for its harbor scenery, convenient public transportation, warm climate, and friendly atmosphere. Participants can enjoy delicious local food, night-market snacks, fresh seafood, and Taiwan’s famous bubble tea, while also exploring cultural attractions such as the Pier-2 Art Center, the Kaohsiung harbor area, Sizihwan, and Cijin Island.

By bringing ISCM-3 to NSYSU and Kaohsiung, we hope to offer participants not only a high-impact scientific meeting, but also a rewarding visit filled with academic inspiration, cultural discovery, local flavors, coastal relaxation, and the warm hospitality of southern Taiwan.
